Kalba day one.

Kalba was fantastic it was so much fun! My favourite day in Kalba was day one because it was the day we went rock-climbing, abseiling and traverse.
The first thing we did when we got to hata mountains was climb onto a wadibed where we got introduced to the instructors. The first activity we did was abseiling we had to walk further up the wadi and climb up onto a path that led us to where the abseiling was.
We had to put on a harness, helmet and gloves. I was third to go down he clipped two ropes on, one I controlled and one the instructor controlled. What you had to do was let a little bit of rope out and lean back and take a few small steps. You have to repeat that the whole way down.
After abseiling we had lunch that I enjoyed. Then the first activity we did after lunch was rock-climbing. Again you had to put a harness and a helmet and gloves if wanted [I put gloves on]. There were colors painted on the wall that you had to try and get to. The easiest was yellow, blue was not to hard and red the hardest. I got to red.

The activity after was the traverse. You had to put a harness a helmet and gloves.I was one of the last to go this time. What you had to do is pull yourself across the wire to the other side. If you looked down you could see a small stream running down the wadi. When you reach the other side the instructor would pull you back and you could let go of the wire and do funny things. That was the last activity I did. We missed out in doing the wadiwalk put still had a great time.

You look like you enjoyed sand boarding and had a great time!
I can still hear you all laughing on the canoe, you really did have a good time and joined in with everything Zac.
