Who wants to be part of the school council?
What kinds of things make a person 'good' for the school council?
What kind of quailities should a student council member have?
Later this week we will be voting in class for our own school council members.
Prepare notes and ideas about why you should be considered to represent Y5JW on the school council. What will you do? What are your qualities?
We will have time in class to present our thoughts and reasons, before we vote.
You can do this by writing your ideas on paper, or type it up and print it, or add some ideas about yourself by commenting on this post.

I think I have lots of creative ideas and I am a good team member. I think I listen well to others. Please vote for me and I will do my best for the whole class. I want to help make Kings' even better.

If I was on the school council I would try to make every thing you want to improve I will try to make it happen.I think I am a hard working student and I would like to be the school councilnd and I always try my best in class.So I think i would be a great student council rep for Yr 5 - shame I'm going!
I would like to be chosen to represent class 5JW at the school council because: I think i'm very creative,exciting and funny. I would say my good qualities are:
*I like helping others that are in need.
*I'd love to give my ideas to the rest of the school and of course give them the rest of the class
5JW's brilliant ideas too.
*I really, really, really want to help the earth and everything on it's surface such as: alln animals in all countries, different plants (especially the rare ones!) and all different people.
So please vote for me and I will give my best for the whole class and the rest of the school!

I would love to be school council bekause I have lots of ideas and I thhink big.I will make school better and FUN.
I think I am funny{to some people} and I think over time with a draft, I can produce great work. I also have a very loud voice but I can also make it very high, and very quiet. I've alwase whantid to be a student countsil. so:

I think I have lots of ideas which I could share with the rest of the council and listen well to ideas from other people. I will help the school enviroment and help make school a better place. Also I would'nt mind givingup break times and lunch times to go to meetings.

I would like to be on the school coucil! I belive that a good counciler needs to be a good lisener,needs to take into acount what everyone says,needs to be calm and must be capable to suggest good ideas.I would like the chance to be a school counciler to help make a difference and to make a change which everyone can benefit from.

I think myself as student counsil,
would be a very good idea for both class and school.
Here are a list of things I would like to achive for the school:
1. Help the enviroment around school
2.Help keep the school neat and tidy
3.Discard any litter or rubbish around the area
3.Listen to others and use their ideas
4.Make school a better place.
I realise that school council is very important in so many levels.
I will try my best to help improve the school.
