Recently, a friend of mine asked me to define what a blog is and why we have one?
I thought this was a good question. I talked it through with him and he was happy with my response. I wonder what you think? How would you define it? And why do you think we have a class Blog?

A blog is an interactive site to see posts,comments and polls.It is world wide so everybody can access it by typing in the address in the tool bar.You can download games which you can get from the internetand also copying and pasting video clips.Many different classes have blogs so other people can see it.
Class 5JW have a blog so other classes and people can use it to see what we have been up to lately.We sometimes post about what we do in the holidays,over the weekend and lots of different things.Blogs are very enjoyable and fun!!

Here are some reasons why a blog is useful:
Mr Watson can put information on like homework. He doesnt have to print it 20 times.
Lots of people can see what happens to other people

A Blog is a great place for people to look at what other people are up too, especially all the exciting things that people do at breaks like half term holidays. It is also an interactive area so other people can tell us what they've been up too. Its also where they can see Jemima's funny video clips (ha ha ha)!
The reason we have a blog is so that everyone can see all the activities that we are doing in class. Mr Watson can use the blog to post homework so the printer isn't printing 20 odd copies. And we can add links to other peoples blogs that are maybe not in Dubai or that have moved to a different school.

A blog is somthing you can do a coment or a post. You can send movies and photos.You can hear what goes on and hear from friends in other countries.
It is also useful so people can see what other people have been up
to over the weekend and holidays.
